Planning : Costume

I will need to do several different costume ideas for the mise-en-scene, as I will have multiple people in my music video. I also have to do different outfits for different time periods - ones that make it believable.

For my main character/lead singer she will wear this is the 1940-50's sections of my music video :


For her present day scenes she will wear :

Also the four different guys will wear this in the 1940-50's part of my music video :

The shirt and suspenders, but not the tie.

I have decided to have the guys wear the same/similar outfits due to the fact that these were the fashion for lower class men in the 1940's.
In the present tense there is only one guy which is 'John'. He will be wearing :

Planning : Props

I will be using multiple props in my music video, there will be props in the music video such as a microphone - only in certain parts to not overwhelm the audience, but to convey the idea of performance. The rest of the props will be filmed differently as it won't focus on them specifically, as it will be more focused on the singer and the props will mainly be aesthetics. For example I plan to use food in the american diner scene like a burger or chips and when the artist is by herself then it will be a milkshake. Also I will need props, like four different bracelets to portray four different guys; as well as pumpkins for the start scene that I plan to do- preferably ones of different sizes.

I have also decided will have flashes of a clock between where it goes from the 1940's to the present time- therefore I will be needing a clock which will be a prop that I will focus on for this scene- for point it will show different times.
